Day 1: Indore to Dakor – Statue of Unity

Your journey begins from Indore, heading towards the sacred town of Dakor, located approximately 300 kilometres away. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the revered Gateshwar Mahadev Temples, nestled along the scenic Gomti Lake, a peaceful spot that offers spiritual serenity and beautiful views. After darshan and exploration, the journey continues to Baroda (Vadodara), where you’ll visit the grand Statue of Unity, a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The towering statue and the surrounding complex offer a deep insight into Indian history and unity. Conclude the day with an overnight halt near the Statue of Unity.

Day 2: Statue of Unity to Poicha – Bhavnagar

After breakfast, set out to explore the Statue of Unity complex, if not covered the previous day, including the museum and viewing gallery. Continue your spiritual trail by driving towards Poicha, approximately 70 km away. Here, visit the magnificent Nilkanth Dham Swaminarayan Temple, known for its divine architecture, spiritual ambiance, and serene riverfront location. The temple complex is a blend of devotion and peace, offering both spiritual and cultural insights. After darshan, proceed to Bhavnagar, a historical city known for its temples and coastal charm. Arrive by evening and settle in for the night.

Day 3: Nishkalank Temple to Somnath Jyotirlinga

Begin the day with a visit to the rare and mystical Nishkalank Mahadev Temple, located in the sea and accessible only during low tide. This unique temple offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience with devotees walking over a kilometre through shallow waters to reach the Shiva shrine. Day 4: Somnath Local Sightseeing or Optional Diu Excursion

Start the day with a relaxed breakfast, followed by local sightseeing in Somnath. Visit notable spots such as Triveni Sangam, Bhalka Tirth, and the Somnath Beach, which offer insight into the town’s mythological and spiritual relevance. Alternatively, you can opt for an excursion to the coastal town of Diu, known for its Portuguese architecture, beaches, and forts. After a day filled with exploration and leisure, return to Somnath for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Somnath to Dwarka via Nageshwar and Bet Dwarka

Leave early in the morning for Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage destinations, located around 250 kilometres from Somnath. En route, stop at the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, another of Lord Shiva’s sacred twelve Jyotirlingas. Upon reaching Dwarka, visit the legendary Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Later in the day, enjoy a boat ride to Bet Dwarka, believed to be Lord Krishna’s original residence. This spiritually enriching day ends with a peaceful night halt in Dwarka.

Day 6: Dwarka to Rajkot via Jamnagar
